Not only is JEZDA a singer-songwriter, rapper, dancer and musician (piano & alto sax), she also writes and produces her songs as well, which apparently doesn’t happen very often in the hip-hop community. DJ Buttacup, from Hype Underground 92.5 said, “It’s extremely rare to find a female in the studio that does everything like JEZDA does. In fact, I don’t think we’ve ever had one.” 

JEZDA grew up just outside of Philly in a small town called Lehighton, PA. She attended college in Miami and graduated with an Economics degree. She then drove solo across the country to Los Angeles, California to pursue her love of music. JEZDA’S sound is a mix of sexy, sometimes quirky, witty lyrics, hard driving beats, and a little European flavor sprinkled on top. 

JEZDA has worked with a variety of talented producers, including Benny Demus (Akon & Eve), Kenny McCloud (Bone Thugs-N-Harmony), Duane DaRock Ramos (Jadakiss & Faith Evans), Marcus Brown (Seal & Madonna) and Arnold G, where JEZDA was featured in a remix called “You Got Me Hot” which made it all the way to a Grammy nomination.
